Mother's Day 2023, my sisters and I went to a hat bar boutique in Texas and styled straw and fedora hats while sipping cocktails and trying on clothes. We covered them with leather, feathers, pins, match books, diamonds, and branding irons. It was so fun! While I was there, I started googling shops in Omaha to see if there was anything similar locally... nothing! Throughout the month I kept taking pictures of my hat thinking "man this would be such a hit at rodeos, fairs, bachelorette parties, breweries, concerts, etc." By the end of the month, with a lot of encouragement from Jamie and Tim, I pulled the trigger and I submitted paperwork for my LLC and started the groundwork for Auburn Dawn Hat Bar! Now we are building a mobile boutique to take to events, homes, and shops and beginning an online presence. This is all a work in progress and we'd love for you to stay connected through our social media outlets and calendars of events and hope to see you soon!

Side Note: The name Auburn Dawn came from my sisters, Jamie and Erika. It was going to be the name of our band when we were kids :) and now it will grow to be a brand where people can come create, have fun, and express themselves.
